Do Not Boast of Yourself

The most difficult secret for an individual to keep is the opinion that he has of himself.

We have a tendency to brag entirely too much of ourselves.

We would be better off not to express the high thoughts of ourselves, but elevate those with whom we come into contact daily.

Draw praise toward others!

Have a good day!
Love,
Dad

He must increase, but I must decrease. (John 3:30)

Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

Be Little

Never be guilty of looking down on others. It is so easy to laugh and make fun of other individuals. In doing so, we think it increases our status. Not so!

"To belittle others is to be little."

Look for the good in others. If there is to be any belittling, let it be toward ourselves. The Bible continually speaks of humility.

"He must increase, but I must decrease." (John 3:30)

"Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble." (1Peter 5:5)

Have a good day!
Love,
Dad
